It was a perfect day for a perfect destination wedding.  The skies at the Occidental Grand Xcaret Resort in Mexico were a perfect blue to match the amazing turquoise colors of the ocean overlooking the island of Cozumel!  Terry and Jenna, an amazing couple from Canada, made our job so fun with a small bridal party who was always up to something unique.  Jenna looked amazing in her high heels which didn't stop her from doing some rock climbing for some spectacular shots! Congrats to you both!!!

Shaun and Jennifer had an amazing celebration at the Destination wedding resort, Ocean Coral and Turquesa in Puerto Morelos, Mexico. Jennifer was the sweetest bride and Shaun was a dashing groom. Their love for each other was so apparent and we were so lucky to share this day with them.  They had an upbeat bridal party who were so fun to work and so many unique details to capture during the reception.  Congratulations to the Newlyweds!

This great looking wedding couple from Chicago, Illinois was married at the destination wedding resort Secrets Capri in the Riviera Maya, Mexico. These true italians made our job so much fun with a large wedding party of 18 who were full of energy and up to all of our crazy ideas!  We got some amazing photography while documenting their special day!  Congrats Paolo and Jessica!!

Manuel and Belem, a beautiful couple from Monterrey, Mexico had an amazing destination wedding at one of the first-class venues in the Riviera Maya, the Xcaret Park!  This couple had such a positive attitude and were great troopers throughout the day despite the unexpected rain pour from a nearby cold front.  Guests enjoyed an exotic Mayan fire show, a gourmet 5-course dinner and entertainment that kept the dance floor bumping all night long.

What a unique Trash the Dress session with this couple from New York!  We had the opportunity not only to photograph the happy couple, but to also include their 3-year old son in the session.  He added a playful touch to the photos with his carefree spirit and undeniable excitement to go crazy and get wet with Mom and Dad!  Plus he was a great assistant with the camera when Mom and Dad were busy underwater!

Our biggest challenge however was the small detail that the Bride and Groom didn't know how to swim.  Challenges are what makes us better!! Our job is not only to take photos but to gain our client's confidence in any situation so they feel safe while enjoying the session! Wendy looked like a pro swimmer in these photos!  She is a natural mermaid bride!! Thank you Armando and Wendy for working so hard to get these beautiful photos!

Beyond being a good man, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was a godly man who fought for freedom, faith, and the American way. On January 16th, 2012 we remember and honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. as our country celebrates the life of one of our nation’s greatest treasures.

Photography for me is not looking, it's feeling. If you can't feel what you're looking at, then you're never going to get others to feel anything when they look at your pictures.

The year is starting out busy!! Already had our first wedding of 2012 and so many more to come.  But first, we must continue sharing photos of our 2011 couples.  We have so many favorites still to share!!!

Eugene and Olga were married at the Excellence Rivera Maya Resort.  They hired us for their next day Trash the Dress session.  We started the session at the natural Mayan Ruins of Occidental Grand Xcaret Resort and finished at the Cenote Azul in the Riviera Maya. Olga was a bit nervous about the underwater photos but proved to be a natural mermaid bride!
